Next Meeting October 12
The next club monthly meeting will be at the American Legion Hall in Alpine. Doors open at 7:00pm and meeting starts at 7:30pm. Location is 306 W Sul Ross Ave.
Cycle Fest is an organized fun bicycle ride on the 18th around the Fort Davis Mountains 75-mile Loop. There are five aid stations manned by BBARC members doing communications and Fort Davis Lions Club volunteers handling food and water. Net control and BBARC event coordinator is Jim KD5KBU.
The 18th had wonderful weather and no accidents. Many thanks to the volunteers Lonny, Charlie, Rob, Ron, Dean, Cheryl, Marvin, David, Bill, Stephen, Pamela, Bob, Rachael, Scott, and Jim.
The 19th is a ride from the Prude Ranch to the observatory and back down. There are no aid stations. Jim only needs a few people, so here is a separate sign up sheet for the 19th.
Pay for club dues, ARRL membership, or make donations.
